Our Place
Hello, welcome to my blog. For learning this week we did a West Coast slide. We did this to learn more about our place the West Coast of New Zealand. I found this task interesting as I found out new information about my home.

Waiho Bridge Washed Away
Yesterday on the 26th of March the Waiho bridge on the West Coast washed away due to major flooding. This happened near Franz Josef the place where the glaciers are. Lots of tourists and people go to visit the glaciers.
My opinion is that it will cause lots of problems for the council as they will have to try and replace it quickly to get the road open. It has been a temporary bridge for 25 years.
