Hello and welcome to my blog. Here is one of my reading tasks.



This term we have been reading a book called Wishtree.  We have now finished the book so this week we had to choose a task to do about it.  I chose to do this task. I made a different cover for the Wish tree book but not the one what's used on the book.  Here is my book cover design and also a summary of what the book was about.

I really enjoyed reading this book as it made us think hard about including others and being kind.  You should read it!

Legend of Poutini Map

This week in reading we have been working on this map for the Legend of Poutini. We put points that showed where he stopped on his way while fleeing with Waitaiki around Aotearoa/New Zealand. We put photos and a sentence about what happened at that place in each point. When you click on it you can see.  I enjoyed doing this activity because making maps is something different.

Blog check

Today we did a blog check.  We had to look at what type of posts we have been creating, what we have been blogging about and how many posts we have done this year. I found out that most of my posts are literacy. I also found out that I have no maths post so this term my goal is to make and share a post on my blog about maths. I mostly do writing with photos so I am going to be more creative by using a video or a quiz in.  I have done 20 posts this year already and last year I only did 13 altogether!

Last weekend I went pig hunting Up the back of my house.
Two big boar Ran past me Didn't end up shooting anything but it was good hunt.
And cant wait to g next time.

Hanmer Vocabulary

Hello, welcome to my blog. In the last two weeks we have been working on Hanmer Spring's because were going on camp there.  For this activity we had to pick a word, define it and write how it relates to Hanmer. I picked this word because I was interested in finding out what the earth's core could possibly have to do with Hanmer.

Getting to Hanmer Camp

Next week we will be going on camp to Hanmer Springs.  This map shows how we will get there and also places of interest along the way.

End of Term 2 Reflection

Hello guys this is my Google slide of all of the stuff I have learnt about. It has been so fun doing it you should try it out. I have done what I have had to do, and what I learnt about numeracy and then Maori and  then literacy.  It is all here for you to see.

Hello this is my writing for week 8 I found it sort of hard because putting the punctuation there.

Hello this is my reading follow up we basically  had to retell the story in order.  I found this a bit tricky but got there.

 

Hello this is my math follow up we had to plan a birthday party but keep to a budget.  It was a really fun activity.

 

ANother punctuation activity.  We are working hard to know where we put the correct punctuation in.

Reflections Week 7 Term 2

Hello guys this is my screencastify for week seven and it is about what happens to rocks.  We had to create some strong questions and then choose a buddy to ask and answer them with.
Hello guys this is my silly sentences for week seven I learnt how to us cool text and fonts.

My math follow up we are learning about face, place and total value for week seven.  I have mastered this strategy after lots of practice.

Reflections Wk 3 T2

On my time line we had to  we tell the story in the text box it was easy for me because I just had to write about what I had read.

We are learning to do math strategies and we had to do the answers in the little boxes and at the end we had to do our own.

On the abandoned car we had to who, what, where etc.  we wrote next to it
and then we added it up to a big story.

On this Activity we had to make a trench out of shapes.  This activity is important because of all the people who died in war.I used one  tip of black I mad them bigger and smaller.  I enjoyed creating this as it used my imagination with shapes.

   
On this picture we had to explain how we like ANZAC I really liked doing this because of its a part of ANZAC because of the people who died In it.
